2022 Australian MotoGP not just a race but a science lesson too.

Updated: Nov 28, 2022

The 2022 Science of MotoGP™ booklet has been designed for students in grades 6 to 9, and explores some of the laws of physics involved in motorcycle racing, the technology behind the rider's safety gear, and how 4-stroke pistons work. It also covers the different skills and training needed by the team members behind racing and introduces students to past Aussie winners. This edition also explores the use of sustainable material options for the production of motorcycles. The Science of MotoGP™ booklet incorporates content from the Australian Education Curriculum allowing teachers to utilise the resource for classroom exercise planning.

STEM Hub's mission is to rally up the next generation to go into STEM careers!

Our educational booklets bring STEM into the real world allowing STEM concepts to be visualised in a context that is relatable, fun and most importantly, relevant. We want current STEM lovers to be even more inspired but we've got our sights set on those students who think STEM subjects are too hard, and boring.
