STEM Hub is proud to announce that our HydroBot Rumble Challenge has been recognised as the Campaign of the Year at the TechDiversity 10-Year Anniversary Awards.

This prestigious win highlights the impact of our work in inspiring students to explore STEM through innovation, teamwork, and real-world engineering concepts in motorsports. Delivered in collaboration with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and proudly sponsored by BAE Systems Australia, the HydroBot Rumble Challenge captured the imagination of students while showcasing how STEM drives creativity and problem-solving.

A Night of Achievements

At this year’s awards, STEM Hub was recognised at three levels:

  • Winner, Campaign of the Year – taking home the top prize as the standout campaign for 2025.

  • Merit Award, Campaign of the Year – ranking STEM Hub in the top 5 campaigns of the year.

  • Education Category Nominee – placing us in the top 10 nationally.

To be recognised across three categories – and to rise to the very top – is a milestone achievement for STEM Hub.

A Proud Moment on Stage

When the announcement was made, Dr Jo Zimpel, STEM Hub’s CEO and Founder, stepped onto the stage to receive the trophy with pride. It was a powerful moment that captured everything this award represents – dedication, innovation, and belief in the potential of every young person to thrive in STEM.

With a room full of industry leaders, educators, and changemakers, the energy was electric. What began with the honour of a Merit Award ended with the unforgettable announcement that STEM Hub had won the overall Campaign of the Year.

Why It Matters

This achievement reflects more than a trophy. It acknowledges:

  • The students, who pour their ideas, creativity, and energy into every challenge.

  • The teachers, who bring our programs into their classrooms and inspire young minds.

  • The partners, who believe in STEM Hub’s mission and help us bring big ideas to life.

  • The team at STEM Hub, who work tirelessly to deliver programs that are bold, inclusive, and relevant to industry.

Looking Ahead

Winning Campaign of the Year is both recognition and motivation. At STEM Hub, we’ll continue to deliver programs that open doors, spark curiosity, and ensure the next generation of STEM leaders is as diverse, innovative, and fearless as the challenges they’ll one day solve.
