Meet STEM Hub's Leadership & Creators
Australia's next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators are already out there - they just haven't been shown what they're capable of yet.
STEM Hub exists to change that. We create programs and challenges that connect students to real-world STEM - the kind that makes a kid's eyes light up, that makes a parent say "I've never seen them so engaged," and that gives educators something genuinely exciting to bring into the classroom or home.
We're also on a mission to bust one of the most stubborn myths in education: that some kids are just "born" with a science or maths brain - and the rest aren't. We don't believe that for a second. In our experience, every student has the potential to thrive in STEM. What makes the difference isn't innate talent - it's having the right opportunity, the right encouragement, and a reason to care.
That's what we build. And it's why we do what we do.

Dr. Jo Jaric
CEO & Founder
Jo created STEM Hub because she believes every child deserves the chance to experience the thrill of real science and engineering, not just read about it in a textbook.
As an award-winning STEM educator, Jo designs hands-on challenges and programs that are fully curriculum-aligned and built for classrooms, homeschool settings, and families alike. Her programs are used across Australia and have been recognised nationally for their impact - including winning Campaign of the Year at the 2025 TechDiversity Awards for the HydroBot Rumble Challenge.
With 15 years across science, Defence, and advanced manufacturing, Jo brings real-world expertise to everything she creates. Her goal is simple: to make STEM feel exciting, achievable, and relevant for the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers.
