ScrapHeat Challenge – Transform Waste into Energy!

Inspire your students to tackle real-world problems while learning essential skills from the Australian Curriculum. The ScrapHeat Challenge empowers students to take on the pressing issue of sustainability by turning everyday waste into energy. This hands-on challenge encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and scientific inquiry, bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical environmental solutions.

Your students will:

  • Engage in creative problem-solving as they design and experiment with waste-to-energy solutions.

  • Connect classroom learning to real-world challenges, fostering a deeper understanding of science, technology, and environmental stewardship.

  • Apply their knowledge across multiple subjects, including science, technology, engineering, and environmental studies.
